Hi, this is my first post and i wold like somebody can help me, when i start making ready on feeder, the suction head hight axle does not move down to meet the upper pile, there is not error message but not work or start the automatic control pile, then i can't moves upward the pile, which could be the conditions to verify not omit to note that check and sensor signals, thanks.

Hi there, your english is quote bad but i will try and help from what i understand.

Your saying the Suction head does not come down to meet the pile?
Different Series of 700's, had different ways that this works. does yours usually come down as soon as the pile reaches the stop manually (i.e. the eye at the grip of the sheet) if so that eye may be defective. but the first thing to do is try and zero set the suction head and see if anything happens.

to be honest, its always been abit un reliable the suction head auto set, i suggest your better off setting the head manually, i find it takes longer to do auto than manually.

  • Hi rolandman, thanks for your answer, what I mean is that once the head is left leaf, over time the pile is reduced but not up automatically. I have three switches in the foot mechanism: S815, S814 and S817 but do not control the elevation of pile.

I am struggling to understand but, are you saying it gets up to the right height, and then once you are running the feeder isnt going up?

sorry for my English, and if it is so, the pile is not raised again after turning on the feeder, in fact the pison not touch the stack after perform automatic pile control, in other words, what conditions must I meet to activate the automatic upward movement of the pile

Ok i understand. This could be a contacter, there are 3 contacters which control the pile but i cant remember which ones. it could be one of them isnt working.

    Carlos,

There are two sensors that contribute to the main pile switching to incremental up once it has reached the boot level:
B081 is the ultrasonic sensor, it will switch over to incremental inch (slow speed), by mean of contactor K005. That will happen if another sensor, B115
is working properly. It is the sheet flap sensor, placed in front of the sheet intake roller (the sensor has a red metallic body).
There are also sensors inside the feeder head, B814, B815 and B817. They must be working and absolutely must be adjusted correctly. If you do not know how to adjust them, contact us and we will send you some info.

thank you all, and I solved the problem: Perform only the synchronization of the feeder with the machine according to the service manual. Someone in the old days moved without warning.

Hello sir, can you tell me about B814,B815,B817 sensor and which sensor is used for lifting and forwarding suckers

    please

In this you indicate the parts with numbers but how can I find out that part's name?

Hola Carlos has logrado resolver tu problema ?

    Yes i can....
    Ok.
    Here we go.
Hello Carlos, have you managed to solve your problem? Many times Roland does not accurately diagnose where the fault is. What series is your machine? Year? You must connect with the handterminal, put it in active mode, go to menu 8 (sensors) and verify the operation of each one, you must also do a self-calibration of each movement to see the correct operation of each movement. Once you upload the job, you do the make ready data function, you do the actual water/ink upload. What are electronic errors?

Hello sir,you told about B814,815,817 sensors,i found 2 LED bulb in each one,one is green and otherone is orange LED Bulb, the green light is permanent and the orange light is blinking, can u say about this sensors

Diego, hand terminal reads only process bus motor end sensors.

Can any one tell me about the SPS,UWR,RTR and the process bus, because most of the error mention this only. Can you please say about this error anyone?

  • SPS-Speicherprogrammirbare Steuerung
    RTR-Real time Rechner
    UWR-Uberwachung Rechner
To learn how it works you need to read 50-60 pages.
