Printmaster Plate Problem

    When I make a diagonal adjustment on our Prinmaster QM 46 the plate gets air in it and it doesn't get tight on the cylinder again. Maybe I'm doing this wrong, doulbe hit the diagonal button, the press comes around and inches to a stop and releases the pressure on the plate, make the adjustment then start up the press and run? Am I missing something here?

    are your plates too long? Our dpm 2000 will make long or short plates at random!!
