Printing on Coaster, Ink scratches off

Hello Everyone, I'm trying to print wording onto Coasters but the dried ink easily scratches off. The coasters are commercial ones and a paper-based photo in gloss on cork. The print comes out raised and looks really good but just doesn't stick to the gloss surface. Anyone know of a method to solve this?
