Polar Mohr 92 EMC Monitor Display Problems

Hi Dear
I am Rony from Bangladesh. I am used Polar Mohr 92 EMC Monitor Cutting Machine 10 year. Now i am face a problems. My machine Monitor Display is not working. Full Display only show light. I am not see nay work this monitor. Now i am change this Display. Please help me how can i change this monitor. Help me

Hi sir:
You are talking about to installing Lcd vs Crt.

You must understand , that board CP1+VID +EPROM from Polar , must be compatible with the monitor for LCD, it has the same connector like VGA, HDMI, DVD-1 or D, etc??

IF Very important that you talk, with the company that did you buy the Monitor LCD?

I know, other company in Israel, that they fix it, or refurbish the CRT ir B.W or Color ( selling) the email: i.alonex@gmail.com

and talk with them, in order if you want to buy from them, for to get some assistance, or fix it your Old CRT.

You could put plain video monitor...pal or ntsc, there is jumper on video board near bnc connectors.
I just now put samsung tv

An used but fully refurbished, in excellent condition, original ADT Electronic DCC-121555-03 12" CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) Color Monitor for Polar Mohr 92, 115, 135, 175 EMC/EM-MON Paper Cutters is available for offer all over the world. The original metal cabinet and mounting bracket are available as well. Existing CP1, KC and VID cards revisions should be informed while RFQ, to check for the compatibility.



Of course, a low cost NEW monochrome green 12" CRT monitors are available as well.

The CRT monitors work properly for decades(!) in mechanical stress industrial and military applications, and not for a few years like LCD monitors with special adapters and often with useless adaptation efforts.

Can you describe how did you perform this change? Do you used any converter or a specific type of monitor?

Normally, if the monitor is coming with the original Polar, only you need to proceed to connect it, according with the schematic wiring diagram electrical.
They use 220 Vac. Connecting in connector 414: pins1+2+3, coming from the main transformer.

Thank you Chock! But my doubt it is how he used the LCD? Did he changed the boards for the compatible ones? Did he use a converter? Special LCD monitor?

LCD, or more specific: Seven segment display coming from Original Polar is different from Display: LCS or Plasma.

In that's circumstances, if he did is possible that he changed,

But I need to know the electronic configuration x to see , what he did.
