    Hi friends,
My polar is giving me a problem

It was not in production for about 2 months and now when i started it shows:

    Back guage Home Pos. unknown

    Two Options: are shown
    1. Scan Refernce Position
    2. Auxilary Operation, No Pos.

When pressed 1, it shows Confirm when table in empty.
    when confirmed, it shows

    Drive with frequency convert.
    Scan Reference Position

    Backguage - Start Backguage.

When backguage started it moves back & forth and following message shows

    No Reference Position impulse (653)

No Measurement is shown, however manual cutting without measurement is possible.

    How to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Linus.

If its like our 76 and has a cable ,its possible that you just need to replace the cable, going from the backgauge into your electronics. When ours failed, sometimes it would know where it was and sometimes no.
