Polar 76 sdp keyboard stop working

Hi guy,
We have polar 76 SDp cutting machine, The keyboard stop working after first cut cycle. Machine still working and cutting manually, we can change size cut manually and make cut. No error message is displayed. Machine display size normally. Just keyboard stop working (all pad).

If we restart machine, keyboard work normally and just after first cut, it stop.
Any one can help?

Hi;
Look first ; for loose connector, dirty, broken cables, or corroded cable.
2) if everything is o.k measure + 9Vdc must be in tolerance max=9.3 Vdc otherwise replace or repair
3) Of course if the voltage is o.k , look in the electronic display board; dry+ colder joint solder, repair it.

1- We check connector, cables... all are ok.
2- We measure the 2 voltage pad : on one we find 8,9V and the other one 4,95V. Do you think this can be the issue?
3- We check dry and colder joint solder, no problem.
Still the same issue, any other idea?

1) If check all connectors are o.k ? a) did you clean it very well b) test for open wires or broken c) oxides wires? or bad contacts?? you must be sure of this. d) if the connectors are good solder?
2) Measure Keyboard BR:+5vDC Tolerance 3% up or down
3)Keyboard and Display BT"+9 vDC VERY CAREFULLY
4)look for connector 503, resolder it
5) in card BR LED V4 =ON=+5.1 Vdc existing for computer keyboard
6) If some faulty is present repair or replace the Computer keyboard board

Really i do Not recommend you , some Generic Battery for your electronic board Polar 76EM.

Since this battery, in short time to due to the experience, can be damaged the MOBO(motherboard).

In short, please order the Original Battery, for security, and good performance of your paper cutter Polar.

You can use: 3.6Vdc. Lithium battery.
Mark: EVE +VARTA+XENO.

Hi,
We are still searching for issue, no idea what is the problem.
We check all connexion and cable
Also power supply PS24 and PS5 are ok
Cleaning all card and connector, colder join solder. We use special cleaning product for electronic device.

What i can't understand is if there is any damage, error code should be displayed. But machine work for first cut, then keyboard stop working and no error code. It seem that keyboard is thinking that cutting cycle is not finished.

Also, now after first cut, keyboard stop working and size value change to other number fault (for exemple from 32cm to 0cm)

Hi, adjust the Cam plastic lever in the gear side as am attached indication, carefully, take the safety bolt.
The knife must be in the Upper position, VERY important

The knife stop in the upper position after cutting and machine can do cut again and again, we can also change size manually no problem.
(If knife position is not correct, we should have error message or the coma on screen still flashing).
But keyboard stop working after first cut seem information that the cutting cycle is finished does not arrive at keyboard control.

No error code when the knife is NOT in the Upper Possition please do it as indicated in the Schematic, since this is mechanical issue, Not interfere with the Electronic-Software of the machine, is only a Trick !!

It’s not exactly like your diagram but we can see in left upper corner where we can measure supply power.

ok, Great ! now is clear, did you see ?, I did not Know what was the reason that you did Not see, before this faulty component?

'' Is better measure 10 times, and Not cut one time""= Axioma in Electronic/Electrical Work!!

1) Power supply is Good, in tolerance.

2) You must replace, the electronic components or completely electronic board for better performance.

3) You must adjust the Cam lever in the gear side , according with the schematic that i did send you before.
