Polar 115 back gauge traveled back of own accord and will not move p

M/c was switched on and a back gauge moved back, the mc then travelled all the way back and will now not move, any suggestions? Have tried resetting bat and switched off completely. Ref point is also showing but we know how to fix that.

OK,
First check the micro switches in the handwheel. Especially the switch of the center button. Most of the times They get stuck.
