Newer Roland RIP Software/Older Roland Digital Printer

    Heya ColorPrintingForumites,

    Does anyone know if there is a current RIP software that works with our old SC-540EX digital printer? We are upgrading to newer computers and I have been told our old Roland ColorRIP ver 2.2 won't work on it. :confused:

    Our local Roland distributor elaborated that the new VersaWorks doesn't have the correct drivers for our old SC-540EX printer. The only thing they knew of was a SUPER expensive, special RIP software that ran on new computers for about $1,500.00. I don't want to spend that much money. We might be stuck running our old computer.
