Hi
We currently run an older Heidelberg SM52 5 (2001) and are now looking to replace with either an ex demo Heidelberg SX52 5 colour with low pile or a new Ryobi 520GX 5 colour high pile.
In an ideal world we would like a high pile on a Heidelberg but cannot afford this.
We print mainly uncoated stocks up to 400gsm (around 70% of our work) the balance on gloss and silk up to 400gsm. We print quite a few full out solids as well as fine tints. Quality is paramount over speed.
I have seen both machines in a showroom environment. What would you recommend / comment / suggest?
Many thanks
Jo
