Need to Create Negatives from a Laser Printer?

Hello!

I need to create negatives using a laser printer. They would have simple type on them (Helvetica Bold 8 pt. All Caps) I was thinking of just using a transparency with a reverse image created on my HP 8100. I will be creating a Photopolymer Plate from the Negatives.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
