Muller martini three knife trimmer problem is drag infeed error motor

How can I fix it?

Hi sir:

Look

1) If there are some leakage in the pneumatic system

2) see if the belt of infeed is o.k or loose, or worn, replace, clean

3) see if the rollers are o.k

4) if the system work with motor, see if the voltge in the motor is o.k, and look for loose connector, and clean it, and tight very well.

5) if the system work by chain , see if the is o.k LUBE, and re-tight with deflection from 1/8¨

Guys, mine Muller Martini 3670 3-knife trimmer is keep showing 4.0 when book pushed in. If free run the machine move fine. I am wonder if the Baumer sensor or encoder issue?

Hi sir

First test the sensor, very easy, use the Camera of his cell, since the Sensor are I.R you can NOT see it , with his eyes.

The camera cell, is building for to detect , this kind of Ligh I.R if you see in his camera, some Blue light ON, the sensor is ok, otherwise is faulty. and replace. However clean it, with special electronic spray. and see if the cables of sensor is o.k , and NOT oil, grease, is there.

If everything is o.k, measure the voltage ( power supply , according with his schematic electrical diagrams) to the sensor .

Dear Chock, I have tested the sensor, measure the voltage and its ok. But its still show error 4.0 when book pushed in. Would appreciate your further guidance.

Did the voltage is in the range? for measure Vca is 10% up or down

for Vdc is 0.7% up or down, please review carefully

Otherwise, look carefully the Electronic board for colder + dry colder joints.

If everything is right, Reset the CPU , see the Schematic attached , see in google, or Yahoo , or other, schematic Pins for Microprocessor in order to execute the Reset very well. You must sure the Clock + Power supply for the Microprocessor is ok, by that reason, is very important the you measure the secondary of main transformer, and the power supply regulated for 0.7% of tolerance Up or down.

Reset the CPU? Can it cause programme/calculation remove after reset? I have no idea where to reset as well.

No sir, since the Software is coming in Memory EPROM or flashing EPROM , NOT
in Cpu.

The reset is how i did instruct you, the Microprocessor or CPU, is coming the MotherBoard(MOBO), you will see the Microprocessor Normally is IC, bigger with many number Pins , like attached scheme.

However did you test the step, that i did indicate you before?
Did the voltage is in the range? for measure Vca is 10% up or down

and it gave me a connection problem and the computer no longer recognizes the plc

Hi sir;
Normally this happen :
1) looser Cable or defective. Between CPU vs PLC.
2) Software is corrupt in EPROM.
3) you can fix it by connecting cable RJ45 in the port. Or using micro SSD. Or according with the type of PLC4) test Regulated power supply in tolerance : 0.7%✓<up or down.
