Muller Martini Amigo Plus Paper Jam

Magic is no different. Separately, everything works together no.
Usually this happens when the correct signal does not come to the PLC inputs, the machine compares the values with its table, in case of a mismatch it shows an error.
Turn off the cover sensor and turn off/on the equipment.

Have you disconnected any sensors from the PLC? If it was disconnected, check that the connection is correct.
Usually there are almost never any problems with such controllers. We changed the battery and the NiCd battery after 2-3 years of operation.
I COMPLETELY FORGOT! There was a case when the cable block of wires to the PLC lost contact and we received an error about the failure of one of the sensors.
They disconnected and connected all the cable connectors in turn, turned on the equipment and the error disappeared.

  • now the error disappeared after zeroing the machine and performing the encoder reset. Coverage ahead of the muller martini amigo plus endorsement table.

You wrote that you had already rebooted the PLC and it didn't help. Perhaps the problem was in the cable connector. This rarely happens. I am glad that you managed to launch the equipment :)

    Hi All,
We started to use Amigo plus (2004) just few days. we get "Error 15" when more books on conveyor. Did anyone have this problem?

Hi, how did you perform the encoder reset, my encoder keeps on showing three stars as soon the machine stops, any chance my encoder is damaged, I keep on having error cover misfeed,

The procedure to set the zero of the machine is in the operating manual.
Has something to do with the yellow arrow under the pressing station. When the arrow comes from left to right and gets on the mark, I think you have to press Emergency stop and then all three buttons once Inching, Start, Stop. But better check in the operator manual.
If the encoders shows only *** or >>>> maybe the encoder is damaged or the cable intrerupted.
Be careful, when you exchange the encoder, don't tension the belt of the encoder to much. That will damage the encoder in very short time.

Hullo. Need help with Muller Martini Amigo perfect binder. When I switch on the machine display shows "Communication Error. Cannot Access PLC" Can someone please help?

There is a cable between the display and the PLC. Check that cable if that is ok.
Also please check the PLC if it is in RUN state not Error or Diagnosis

I have attached photos. The Run led is on.

  • if there are no Outputs then the program in the PLC is lost or the PLC is not in the RUN mode. Can you provide the type of the PLC? I have never see that type of PLC on AMIGO before.
    Photos of the module attached.

You must contact Muller Martini for reprogramming. Or check a method to reset the PLC. Maybe the program it is not lost but just the CPU it is halted.
