Mediprint fan pump

Hey all. Im having an issue with the fan pump on a Mediprint A4-30 spray powder device. When i engage to print the fan pump will not come on unless i bang on it a few times until i hear it. This has been happening more often and im concerened it will stop working completely. Any thoughts? Thanks
