Manroland 202 --- Press will not run

When pressing crawl run button press will run. When taking fingers off the press will stop. The press should continue to run.

 

what yr press is it, is it a TOB or EOB

Sounds like an open stop button or broken wire to a stop. Not familiar with this press but typically on ours (Didde) a stop button has come loose, operator spun it to lock it and broke a wire. Good place to start on electric trouble is ask the operator what the last thing done was, this should lead you to the problem.

 

Areyou still having this problem if so gaive us a call at controltronics www.control-tronics.com 754-245-0890 i have seen many things that will cause this if you can job the machine i dont belive it is a stop button issue some press's have 2 n.c. Circuit on the stop command one for inch and one for un but a roland ussaly has just on set of n.c. Contacts it might be the foward interlock aux contact circuit

 

check for oil pump or oil quantity

if you are getting an orange light on oil diode filter can be dirty needs to be cleaned
also could be problem with tac generator or main motor relay needs to be reset. good luck

I have the same problem... auchprinting what was your problem? how did you get it to work? please help

 

Refilled with oil and can see now half full when the machine is off in the glass visor , also cleaned the filter but still when I press start the press only crawls.

any help / advise would be very appreciated.

 

Is there any expert or company that I could call to try to get this fixed over the phone. I am based in Ibiza and technical support is expensive. Currently I am printing with the button pressed...

Was a oil problem, issue is fixed now.

 

Hello Guys,

We have here the same problem with our Rekord RZK press, cannot get to run the press automatically, just by pressing the forward or backwards button. lights are deactivated on speed change buttons, and on the run button as well.

Oil indicators are green.

Any help will be appreciated.
