    Hello Every one
Facing very strange problem in CD102-4+L
    Machine# 536886
    1994 software version 10.2
Machine is inching very well in both directions but when try to Run then during Brake test, immediately main line fuses or Armature fuses blown.
In dyn-test mostly this error appears
    MOT-7FAF. or. MOT- 7FBF
( motor induced voltage too high for brake test)
    In this connection replaced the
SRK, ESK, SAK2, both REK with EPROM module, SVT board,
Field control board, voltage & current monitor module, both SBMs, EAK15, SEK board but problem is still there.
During inching or brake test, field voltages are stable near about 42 volts.
    Can anybody help me
    Rashid

    Hi Sir:
First: Let me know if you motor is controlling by cptronic main drive DC brush ??
If this true which fuse are blowing: 15 F1 for main drive? or 15F2 for armature??
Now whatever fuse is going Blowing: You must test the complete motor for Short in a) Stator b) Rotor c) Brake connection,d) power converter power parts SLT E) Rectifier Modules GRM 120 +24 and take a complete maintenance for the motor. to due lack of barnish in the winding, ball bearing, dust, etc.
Every electrical motor, must do a complete LUBE , maintenance every 12 months. Now is time, otherwise you must time, Money, and production.
    Blessing.

    Thanks for reply.
Yes i am talking about Main DC Motor and Brake test function applied only in main motor.
Off course 15F1 Fuses are blowing and some time 15F2.
I have replaced the Main DC Motor also but results are same.
In Brake Test function, must be No power on Brake and its normal.
In my first message, i was explained in detailed which which parts are replaced with SLT.

In my case voltages are high during brake test, that's why fuses are blowing
    MOT-7FAF. or. MOT- 7FBF
( motor induced voltage too high for brake test)

So need to control it but how?

    Hi sir:

    Hope you are well.

Heidelberg in 2004 , did Introduction of the electrical brake in the last printing unit as standard
We must also point out that the hexagon-head screws on the motor of the brake unit have to be sealed.

A newly developed braking unit is installed in the last unit (printing or coating unit) of presses in the CD 102 model line equipped with 3 to 5 units and Preset Plus delivery.

The braking unit gear meshes with the gearwheel of the sprocket wheel shaft of the Preset Plus delivery. This means that the gear train has a constant braking torque of 150 Nm when running at a speed of 3,000 to 15,000 iph.

This corrective action pretensions the gear train up to the main drive and prevents tooth flank changes.
Posible if you have this design in your machine since the braking unit gear meshes
with the gearwheel of the sprocket wheel shaft of the Preset Plus delivery. This means that the gear train has a constant braking torque of 150 Nm when running at a speed of 3,000 to 15,000 iph.

This corrective action pretensions the gear train up to the main drive and prevents tooth flank changes. In short you must test if your press is equipped with this device in your Motor.

    2) If your machine is NOT coming with this Device Electric brake, please Review carefully the power s for NTK 24 +5v in tolerance 5% up or down, very strictly, example if you measure 5.4 Vdc the power supply is defective replace or repair, or interchange with another good Good know, etc, the same for +24Vdc.

    3) This is the reason, that swaping board there are the same Results.

    4) If finally you find the power supply is o.k . Now you can exchange converter power part SLT completely con SVT +SBM1+2

    5) However the boards that you are replacing you must sure that they are new, and NOT repair( only by Heidelberg) since they critically components like Thyristor : that conduction and working can be erraticaly, if they do not are according the parameters for Baumuller +Siemens : Motors, can produce the Phenomenon Transistory : called in Electrical Engineering, like that you have now.

    Blessing.
