Yeah, I fear we need more information.
when I think production inkjet, I think high-end and extremely expensive. Nothing “entry level” comes to mind.
unless you factor in wide format. Which you could feed pre cut sheets into. It’s not highly productive, but it works.
or an HP PageWide machine, but that’s an office quality copier.

Not sure if you've found a printer yet but the Afinia CP950 offers sheet fed, inkjet printing. It's made for labels, cardstock, envelopes and packaging so it has an adjustable height printhead. This may be a good option.
