Komori Lithrone Feeder Hoist

The feeder hoist on our 426 Lithrone (mid 1980's) has been sporadic in the past few weeks. Initially the hoist would not raise manually, or it wouldn't lower manually, or it would not raise automatically when we were feeding paper. Sometimes the hoist would lower from the weight of the paper. Sometimes everything worked great.

We replaced the contractor for the brake and now the brake works fine. We cleaned the contacts on the hoist "raise" contractor and the hoist "lower" contractor. Now we can manually raise and lower the hoist, but it will not come up when feeding.

Any ideas?

 

There is a sensor on the foot on my LS under the cover on the feeder head, check that a LED lights up, sensor may be bad.
