Is 100lb gloss cover or 12pt gloss thicker?

    Which would be a thicker, more impressive cover:

    "100 lb. cover, gloss "
    or
    "12 pt. gloss stock"

    Close -
    100 lb cover weight = ~11 pt. thickness

    The 12 pt will probably be thicker. Stiffness also comes into play.

    How many thousand sheets do you need to use before you can get good prices directly from Mohawk vs. having to go through one of their resellers?
