I have HP Designjet serial numbers where can I get information about these plotters?

I have serial numbers for several Designjet plotters I'm thinking of buying. Where can I go to check out the status/condition of these particular plotters? Is there a place on the HP website?

Show me the Carfax! I don't think it works like that for printers lol!

 

With leased server contract printers a "carfax" exists for each but I don't think it's easily released to the public -- only the techs for the company have access to see the service records and meters. In the old days each machine had a paper service record on the back - now mobile devices have taken that role and I don't think the customer has access to check the service records.
