How to maintain Epson p7000 while away for several months

I want to buy the Epson P7000 but there is a problem that must be resolved and I am open to suggestions. The printer will be in my NJ home but I am away each winter for five months. The question is, how can I get the heads cleaned frequently enough to avoid clogging and worse?

Now I have given this some thought. Sure, someone could come by to exercise the printer, but if so, how frequently is enough? Or is there some way to do this remotely? I've heard that there's an option to set the printer to do this periodically by itself but I've also heard that it does not work and may not be reliable. So, any and all thoughts about will be appreciated. Thanks for your anticipated help.
