Help Please:
Nothing happens when I plug in the printers USB cable, eg: it doesnt plug and play.
I've ran the usual Windows trouble shooter but that fails saying it cant find a driver.
So how do I find out what the drivers name should be ?
and if the driver exists in the Windows OS ?
And if not, where do I get the correct driver from ?
And how do I install it ?

NB: I looked exstensively online but been unable find a driver.
Many thanks

  • I'm still having problems finding known working drivers for my OKI C9400 printer.
So does anyone still have the drivers for an OKI C9400 printer?
If so, I would greatly appreciate it, if you would send me a copy!
Even if they are still installed on your PC, I can tell you how to copy them.
    Hoping you can help.
    Many thanks.

All of the drivers are still available on the OKI website here: https://my.okidata.com/Home.nsf/Welcome?OpenFrameSet

Just use the menus on the right side to find your printer, then select your operating system on the next page.

    Hi,
Many thanks for taking the time to reply:
On that page: There are no drivers listed for the W10 OS.
There is a page for W7, which just says they are part of the W7 OS,
but they are not included in the W7 OS.

I should have verified it was there for W10, sorry...if it's not there, then it probably doesn't exist.

    Hi,
That's OK, thanks for trying to help.
I've found some drivers but they dont work.
What I really need are drivers that are known to work, on W7 & W10.
So ideally C9400 drivers copied from someones PC, who is currently using (or has used) a C9400.

When was the C9400 last sold?

Does the windows 7-included driver include full options?

For a long time with a plotter I kept a standalone computer with an old operating system to drive the plotter. Same with a few different machines. If the operating system comes out after the printer is not being sold, you often don't get new drivers ever made. You might have to run an old machine connected only to the printer.
