I have a older Heidelberg SORMZ with the conventional dampening systems. Am looking for info on converting to an integrated system.

You can contact the manufacturers of the after market dampening systems.

Hi I'm probably 11 years to late with this one, I ran a SORMZ for a few years which had one bareback (peach) form/plate damper (you only need one) but just had a molleton damper to transfer moisture from the steel pan roller to the steel distributor roller works well the only cost is getting the roller covered.

For years we printed with conventional damper systems with no limits as to what we could print. You may find it cost prohibitive to do the conversion. If your not ready to trade in your press for something with a modern continuous flow system, then I would suggest hiring someone to teach your current pressman the in and outs of making the press run with what you've got. There are many tips that an ole school pressman could teach your crew about running a press with conventional dampening. A weeks worth of consulting fees for such a person would be far cheaper than the cost to install an aftermarket water system.
