Hello , I have Heidelberg sm 74s p3 press. Recent buy. Year 2000
I used this press in straight printing. I am facing some registration issues, between 1,2 unit with another 4 units.
When we register the job, suppose 1st unit is our black and 6th unit is our pantone color. When we register both we face left right issue. Please advice
Please help with this issue; awaiting for your support
    Thanks

    Hi sir;

Will be a good idea to test the Transfer drum grippers bar.

    Here is how to work.

    The transfer cylinder U1 is
    equipped with one gripper bar.

The transfer cylinder U1 takes the printed sheet
from the impression cylinder and transfers it to
the subsequent transfer drum U2 or, in presses
with perfector, to the storage drum.

The transfer cylinder U3 takes the
printed sheet from the transfer drum U2 and
transfers it to the subsequent impression cylinder
or, in presses with perfector, to the storage
    drum.

    Dear Himanshu
As I understand your machine is 6 units.
As there are many gripper bars, you have to know WHERE to check, follow are some hints.
First, I prefer to print at your first unit only, then repeat the printed sheets again, check the registers (at the lead edge). If you have mis-register(s) then you know that you have to check everything from feeder to the 1st impression cylinder.
If your registers are OK then join the 2nd unit and print 2 colors, then check your registers again, until you can catch WHERE is the bad grippers.
You may find dirty gripper pad, jammed grippers, bad cam follower, bad grippers adjustments, or broken spring rod.
    Hope this will help.
