Having issues trying to set sensor amplifier's...

The one on the left not responding!
Very very sensitive these things.
Having run 1st side of cmyk moderate coverage brochure, the sensor for operator's side front lay prompting during the back up printing.

What is the fix...guys?

Hi sir:

Try to interchange the sensor amplifier, by those are working.

However clean very well, the Edge connector of the PCB from sensor Amp.

Otherwise the sensor amplifier is defective!

  • Hi Sir;

    I did instruct to you, to do many things, NO RESET!!!

    That was that I did recommend you , that you will do . OK. ¿

    I think we have a misunderstanding my friend...? By reset i meant that i turned the amplifier dial to the right expecting it to flash. But it didn't respond. You are obviously way more experienced on komori than the rest of us. & i respect you for that. I already cleaned the rust off the actual sensor's under the feed table including the wiring because this press was abandoned for at least a year. It has taken me weeks & weeks to finally get it operational.

  • Komori has a toll free number and in many (or all) cases, they can and will either provide you with qualified answers over the phone, or they will point you in the right direction toward having any issues with their presses, solved.

    Just a suggestion, so take that for what it’s worth and good luck to you!

    Hi
    Is the faulty sensor for the left side lay?
    Try removing the fiber lead from the amplifier and you should be able to trigger the amplifier with a finger waved under the sensor. If this works then the amp is probably ok. then try swapping the fiber with say the left front lay if this works then the fiber is faulty. you should be able to get these locally from many suppliers
