I have a new EU Unit (enviromental unit) for an Igen 4 and the condensate fan is not kicking on. I am wondering what could be the issues to why it isn't coming on?

It may not be phased properly.

I have already phased it. Done everything the RAP told me and it is phased correctly.

That panel you have open needs to be closed by the way. No guarantee it will turn on after, but that panel needs to be shut for that fan to work properly. Both sides of it...

The only reason it is open is because it doesn't work and I am troubleshooting the issue. It gives me an over temperature fault. The code is XPE-13-7006

I assume you've put the volt meter across the power inputs to check for voltage. If so, follow power back towards the source. I'm guessing it's a contactor of some sort that engages power to the fan.

Thats what I'm thinking it's not enough juice to kick it on. I am replacing this part tomorrow and I will see if this fix the issue. Thanks for the help.

I've had failed EUs also. The last time it was the 24 VAC power supply that kicks in the contactors. Contactors themselves are also known to fail. Just keep tracing power back until you find out where the break is. Make sure to check all 3 legs too. 1 dead leg is all it takes to fail a fan.

I have checked the 24V vac and everything checks out. We check TP 29 and TP 2 on the EUSR board and wasn't getting the 5V DC we need so I have placed an order and hopefully Monday the issue will be fixed. Appreciate the advice.
