Epson 9900 new Print Head Installation

Hello,
I'm new here (visual artist) and hope someone here can help me with a tip?
I unfortunately need to replace the print head of my Epson 9900 (for the second time). I can get an Epson 7900 for a reasonable price. This is the same printhead. My question is: can I just install the printhead and it will be recognized or do I need the Epson service program? If so, where do I get that (in Germany) and is it self-explanatory or what else would there be to consider?
I have already done the print head removal and reinstallation.

Actually what programme do you need mainboard service programmes or what, May i know in details pls?

 

Details are: Epson Stylus Pro 9900. I would like to replace the print head because it is partly clogged. I don't know if the new printhead will then be recognized correctly by the printer after installation. I had read in another forum, that the serial number of the new printhead would have to be entered with the Epson service program or something similar ... Therefore, I am unsure, or would like to know before installation, whether this works without problems, or whether I need this Epson service program or another. Thank you very much!

 

I think no need you can install it without programme
