I still get the containers with the orange plug in the end instead of the new type. I thought they stopped making this type a few years ago.

    Anyone else?

I have seen a few around lately and when I had problems with my cyan it was the old type of container.

I wish I would get the plugs. The toner makes a hell of a mess when placing the empty bottles back in the box for recycling...

I always place a paper towel over the end of the bottle and secure it with a rubber band before putting it into the box. That way I don't make a mess here and hopefully it is appreciated when it arrives at the recycling center.

They are great for dumping used fuser fluid into. Also, I have the "top hat" vacuum attachment and I dump the old toner back into the empty toner tank. I love the "hat", changing all those filters in the vacuum sucked. I used to have to stock 10 -12 vacuum filters now I only have 3 -4.

Tin man does seem more appropriate.

Ah yes, the Tin Man. A thing of the past (and not much missed) for those of us that were upgraded to the iGen4.
