DFC-120 E910 Error

Has anyone encountered this error before? not much out there regarding it. I have a DFC-120 connected to a DBM-120. When i switch the finisher option to none in the maintenance menu the error clears. the DBM also works perfectly on standalone. Its only when both are connected that the error is thrown up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever figure anything out with this? Is there a way to clear this if just using the collator and not a downstream unit?

I bought the service manual and here's what I figured out for my situation:

I needed the correct "finisher" setting in the maintenance manual. In my case it was "none" but maybe yours wasn't set right?

Anyways to enter maintenance mode press 1012 stop and Enter (the arrow one), scroll through settings like normal to get to finisher settings.

This is what worked in my case. Could be a different scenario for you. Hope it helps !
