Dampening Issues

Hi, I'm having major dampening issues on my Roland Ultra. We have recently converted the dampening rollers to bareback rollers and I'm not sure if the correct rubber was used. Is it possible to use bareback dampers with a water ductor or a metering roller. All the help is needed.

• bareback dampers rollers need very precise adjustments, so be catious.
  
• bareback dampers are not effective for high speed printing. So just double check, test machine around 7K-8K S/H.
• bareback dampers are also not suitable for all types of INK and Plates.
• bareback dampers need a correct dampening solution chemistry, (correct pH, Correct conductivity/concentration of additive) and in some cases a WETTING AGENT (ALCOHOL) for even distribution of dampening solution on the plate.

I'm finding that out now, I'm running 1 form damper with cloth and the other 1 bareback, and I'm still having issues. I guess I have to go back to conventional dampening, at least I will have control of my dampening.
