CPtronic MOZP error code 3D0B

I have an error code on INIT screen, KVT 3D0B on startup. Press will not inch or run.
The drive is a BLT. I dont have and schematics for the Drive. Can anyone help me identify the problem. I am a technician.

Hi sir;

According with this error code;

Check:
KVT defective!, Must be replace it or repair.

  • Hi.
    I have replaced the KVT. No errors show up in the INIT test or the DYN test,now that the KVT was replaced.
    The motor still will no inch or run. The brake is active whenever the inch or run button is pressed, but no movement of the motor.
    Can you help me to diagnose this problem.

    Before I changed the KVT the error code was 3DOB. After replacing it, no errors show up either in the INIT or DYN screens, but the motor still not moving when inch or run is pressed.

    That is why I am at a loss. Even when I try moving the press all the DYN codes remain error free. I will go on site in a couple hours and send you a picture of the diagnostic and the service screens. Maybe you can spot something that may help to indicate where the problem lies.
    This is a BLT drive were have.

    Hi sir:

    1) Test the input for L1+L2+L3 and see if there in tolerance in 10% up or down, it does NOT matter if you have Input for: 220Vca or 380Vca or 440Vca.

    2) Measure in the electronic BLT in the terminals L1+L2+L3 , If they are Input of voltage in TOLERANCE as i did indicate go.

    3) Measure the U+V+W For Output Main Motor, that is the Input to the main terminal of Main MOTOR, and compare with the ID Plate of the MAIN Motor if there are o.k or NOT.

    4) At the same time measure +24Vdc for Brake, this device is controlled electronic via BLT.

    5) Look for loose connector, dirty, grease, corrosion, or break wires, Reset the C. Breaker for Main Motor, look for the Schematic Diagrams Electrical, or Fuses if they uses, and see if there are OPEN, or faulty, or terminal corroded+ look carefully if they are some electronic components burn, or overheating, or corroded, or Colder+Dry join solder, clean very well, of Course Turn OFF the machine, for to do this inspections and Test.

    Brake voltage is present and brake is released when inch button is pressed. The manual brake release is also functional. at times depending on the motor position, the motor gives a short jerk and stops. Tried adjusting the rotor position sensor throughout its range with no change.

    These codes here for the Dyn test or the Init test in the previous post, dont change when we attempt to inch, crawl or run the press. we can here the brake release each time but no movement of the motor.

    Hi sir;

    My apologize for the delay in reply you.

    You send me , Pics attached is there for the Input and output, of electronic board

    L1-L2 - 175V AC
    L2-L3 - 176V AC
    L1-L3 - 175 V AC

    U- GND - 128 VDC
    V- GND -127 VDC
    W- GND -128 VDC

    However, the Input LI +L2+L3 = 175Vac is o.k
    But in Output U+V+W , you must measure between phases U+V+W , like the Input. 160Vac. since is three phases Motor.

    2) If the output coming from U+V+W, that is the Input to the main terminals Motor is NOT there or is too low, the faulty is coming from the electronic board, or main motor.

    3) However you can make this test; make the measure in U+V+W , without the main motor, if the voltage is o.k, the electronic board can be possible o.k.

    4) Now connect the main motor, to the electronic board, if the Voltage is too low, the Winding Motor is defective, time to go to repair motor shop.

    5) Measure the +24Vdc for the brake, if is there in the moment to Start the machine.!!!!

    The 24 volt for the brake is there and the brake releases when inch or run is activated. However there is no AC voltage between U and V, U and W or V and W so the TTK board may be at fault. The green led on the TTK board is lit, the 2 fuses are good and there is no fault code either at INIT screen or the DYN screen to indicate a fault on the board. Any suggestion as to onboard test that can be done. I have no schematics on the BLT drive.

  • Hi Sir:
    If You do Not have Voltage VAC, en U+ V+ W, if evidence the Electronic Board Is Faulty, specially with Tirysthor.
    Replace it, or Repair.
    However i am supposing that you did the test without the motor, since am indicate you, previously, the disconnect the main motor, if the are Voltage in U+ V+ W, the winding motor can Be Faulty( reheating+or open ).

    Blessing

    Yes. I checked with and without the motor connected and got thee same result. the previous values I got for U,V and W were taken on the DC range across GND and each phase. I figured that a brushless DC motor was driven by DC pulses from the Drive and not AC sine waves.
    I have order a board from Ebay, hopeful that this solves my problem. Thanks for you help. I will let you know the outcome when the board arrives.
