Cover Stock for C1?

Hello, everyone.
Thank you for this forum first of all. Face down problem solved here!!

Now, I'm having some problem with 14pt cover with C1.
Has anyone been successful printing on 14pt or better yet 16pt cover stock?
Any tricks to print thicker than Canon recommend?

Try short grain printing.

Thank you Billy, it was short grain I was using. Still had problems.
So, gave it a little loving by massaging the paper and it is printing alright at the moment.

How thick can you guys print on your machine?

Cover Stock for C1

The maximum for C1 is 256 GSM. If youre going to use thicker than that, tendency is you are damaging the Fixing rollers which sooner or later, you will have an uneven gloss accros the sheets.

We printing maximum at 300gsm.
Paper sizes we tested and is ok is 30.5x43 and 32x45. A4 cannot puss.
You must be there when printing (3 papers in the bypass).
One is printing the 2nd holds the paper size and properties and you put the third down of all.
If you put more it jams.

Hi, 14pt is the max (bypass only). Its hard to fool the copier though. It has a sensor to detect paper thickness as it enters the copy path. If it is out of spec it will shut down and show a jam.
