Console monitor problem on 525

The monitor on the console of my Ryobi 525 is on it's way out, it's a XJ500T Mag Innovision, I've heard you can change it for a normal screen with a mouse. Anyone know how difficult this is?

As far as I know you can do this. Not sure if you have to install drivers for mouse I will find out for you

did you find out if you could put a monitor and mouse on the machine I am having the same problem on a 524 hxx not sure if its the screen or the computer

You can swap out the touch screen monitor with a screen and mouse, I had to do it Saturday. The touch screen would not power up. Switch connections to the new monitor and plug the mouse into the appropriate port on the back or the hard drive. Reboot the press, to let it recognize the mouse, and you should be good to go.

depends on how old you software is we tried it and we had to be with out the ink volume setter for year till they got all the drivers figured out.

you can use a mouse but you need a special cable its not a standard one contact apex in the uk
