once again.... I would refer you to post number 23 on this thread. There is nothing in my posting that implies that you can't work proper ink film thickness into other quality controls. They are both able to be incorporated together. Sorta like walking and chewing gum at the same time!!! Considering that modern color control on the press is happening closed loupe via densitometer readings, I will even toss in farting to the equation. I am perfectly capable of simultaneously walking, chewing gum, and farting at the same time. But to get to where I want to be, the walking part will always be the priority. The chewing gum is just there for my enjoyment. The farting part would be there for your enjoyment.
