CLC 3220 registration problems after fitting a new ITB

I've just fitted a new ITB to one of my 3220 (been running numerous now for nearly ten years) done all the usual things, cleaned the rollers etc. It was running fine before changing the belt and now the registration is all over the place, any obvious suggestions on something i've missed. I changed dozens of ITB's before and never had this problem
