I'm having problems with chrome roll buildup with uv inks Especially black. Have tryed alot of the normal solutions.
Is this common with UV or does anyone have any thoughts.

Is this common to selected units e.g unit 1 which runs the majority of black inks ? Do you run UV all the time? You say black is espescially bad, is this because of its higher film weight have you tried running the black at a lower film weight to see if the chrome roller clears? I have had this before but without a bit more info its dificult to give you a soloution.

    Hi,

When you say the chrome roller i presume you mean the matte chrome oscillating roller as opposed to the chrome metering roller.
Have you tried cleaning it with a strong plate cleaning solution.

    Regards.

Check your water temperature in that unit, is there enough alkaless? alcohol? If you have a house foutain solution supply make sure it is giving you enough alkaless. Check ph and conductivity in your water.
