Hi guys, I'm new to this print forum. Can anyone tell me how to check and if the characteristic curves are working on SM 74 and how it work's. I understand that the ink fountains and damping fountains should speed with the press. But what I don't understand is how to adjust it and if it works. Is their an on and off button?
It looks like on PU's running Black, Cyan, Yellow & Special Col 1 there is a manual override of the standard Heidelberg characteristic curves. All altering of colour when speeding up the machine should happen automatically, best thing to do is to watch a particular units diodes & you should see them alter from a slower speed to a faster speed.
