C16-350 + Failing System Check

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if any of you could assist me with the cause of my current error codes.

I'm receiving C16-350 when I try to release jobs to print.
The jobs will fault. The error code then prompts up saying to reset.

Meanwhile on the Printer interface when I try to run colour maintenance I can get through it but it fails the System Check - meaning it cannot create a DFE profile.
It then states it's creating a DFE errror report.

When I look into administration i'm getting other random error codes such as:

XPE-06-3070 - Excessive colour registration variation
--------
XPE-09-4451 - Developer 1 (M) Vmag at minimum
XPE-09-4452 - Developer 2 (Y) Vmag at minimum.

I've done all the usual reboots / shutdowns / cleaning of sensors / DC0951 Xerographic Setup

It's just bizarre. It was working fine on Friday... got shutdown and won't run Monday.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • I had actually 're-pushed' the optical cables in yesterday to no avail.

    Today I actually unplugged them and plugged them back in... machine is working.

    I lost a whole day to this idiotic error.

    The millions of resets should of cured this! Plugged in = plugged in! argh!
     
    I've had 3 bosses that are pedantic about power saving ... so every weekend it needs to be shut down. Always exciting to see which error code i'll get on the xerox roulette every monday morning.
     
    I shut my iGen down once over a long weekend in the spirit of being "green." Came in on a Tuesday morning to find a small lake had appeared under it.
     
    You want to leave it powered up over the weekend so that you keep the entire system acclimated. Especially the feeder trays. After a certain period of time your fuser (the power hungry device) shuts down and doesn't reheat until you either enter diags, open and close the fuser drawer, submit a job or right click the Active Status Message and click on Warm Up.

    The reason you would get the lake affect around the machine is because when you shut the machine down the A/C Evap cores begin to de-ice and melt. With no power the pump in the sump pump cannot pump the water out, the sump over fills and then you have Lake iGen.

    Bottom line, it is detrimental in more than one way to shut the iGen down.

  • Yep had another Monday drama where the machine wouldn't recognise XRX_HBG_003203 module...

    Could anyone explain why the I / 0 / II switches in the feeder mean?

    1 is set to I and the other was II. (made them both I)

    The stacker also has one of these switches set to I

    Not sure if fluke, luck or igen mood but it recognised the module after making them all I
     
    The switch changes power control mode to local or remote. Can't remember which position is which
