Hi everyone, my printing company is located in S-E Asia. We are keen to purchase a used Heidelberg SM52-2 from overseas because of the wider choices of selection.

Are there any things to look out for when buying a used offset presses from a used machinery supplier in the UK? As UK is very far away and inspection of the machinery is not feasible, our main concern is how to ensure the machinery is in an acceptable condition beside just looking at a few photographs.

Regards.

I can't seem to find the PM button even though I clicked on your user name, probably because I am a new member?

    Anyway to overcome this?

    Hi @ all,

Tip: have a look for the german market too. Many printshops get struggled and want to sell machines.
