AB Dick 9810 power-loss

My AB Dick 9810 starts running more slowly from the moment I put on the impression.
Does anybody know what could be the cause of this.
 
Hi is your motor monophasic or 3 `phases¿
or Dc motor with brushes or brushless ¿¿
1)if the motor is monophase 110 or 220vac, test the input is there are in 10% tolerance, search for loose connect¿
capacitor faulty, or motor inside need maintenance repair with brush, bearing, or winding defective.

2)if the motor is 3 phases,240 or 440vac, look for some fuse or c. breaker loose or bad contact or defective
, test the input is there are in 10% tolerance, look for loose connection, or motor
inside need repair and maintenance, brush, bearing, and winding maybe defective.

3)If the motor are DC control motor board, look for loose connection in the output of the board for to input the motor , tight very weel
look for some corroded connection.
if there are ok, test if the output of controller board you can measure the voltage output¿ is there are in tolerance about 10% , if there
are o.k , test the motor DC, need repair with brush , bearing, or winding defective, Use in all measure the DMM(Digital multimeter )

  • I tought it must have been the motor. It's connected with normal DC (I'm not so familiar with electrics). This motor is 25 years old, so I just ordered a new one with my technician. It also did'nt always start, I had to try several times to get it running, (it had some kind of winding problem).

    Hi , the new is too faulty¿
    or is the old one¿
    Because if the new one is faulty, can be the Board the faulty
    i recommend to Resolder all dry joint, and tight the conectors cables output
    to the input to the motor from the boards
    Too retest the Rotary switch or Pot, clean it or replace, the contacts can be
    dirty or bad.

    All 9810s have an AC motor. 9910, 9870, 385, have DC motors. Sounds more like a variable speed pulley problem, worn or dirty, rusty or all the above.

    Or the clutch spring could need adjusting once the extra pressure is added when other components are engaged. Does it seem to be a slipping or an actual reduction of power?
