Qingdao Justu to Exhibit at SinoCorrugated 2013

On October 29, 2012, Qingdao Justu Precision Machinery held a ceremony to mark the opening of its new Kehai Road factory in the Gaoxin District of Qingdao.

At the event, Song Jialin, Chairwoman of Qingdao Justu, thanked clients and suppliers on behalf of the company. Ms. Song also expressed her gratitude to the Justu staff and the construction company for their efforts in building the new plant.

As the corrugated industry’s leader in the R&D and manufacturing of slitters, cutoffs and stackers, Justu has a wide range of patent products for the dry end production line. In recent years, the company has won numerous honors for branding and management, as well as for scientific and technological innovation, thanks to the support of local government and clients.

Construction of the new factory began in July 2011 and took 14 months to complete. Total investment in the plant was RMB 190 million (USD 23.7 million). Today, the area is a modern workshop that spans over 43,000 sqm.

Ms. Song pledged that Justu would continue to follow the principles of innovation and branding, to make the plant China’s biggest packaging machinery manufacturing base for the dry end production line.

A Spectacular Showcase of Corrugated Box Innovation at SinoCorrugated 2013 -Creative Corrugated Interactive Zone

Today, many corrugated box manufacturers make only corrugated packaging products. However, as these are easy to imitate and the industry has low barriers to entry, profits continue to fall, making competition increasingly intense. Many producers of corrugated equipment also lack innovative capabilities, due to inadequate knowledge of the latest market needs. The entire industry is now exploring new fields and products.

The next part of the exploration of the Creative Corrugated Interactive Zone will take visitors to the House of Homes, where various kinds of furniture and office supplies made of corrugated paperboard will be on display. This segment will also highlight the market trend towards green furniture.

The House of Games is the third segment, where visitors can see football goal stands and table tennis tables made of corrugated paperboard. They can interact with these corrugated products by playing either of these sports right there on-site or even watch gold fish swimming in a corrugated cardboard fish tank.

The last room will be the House of Life. In here will be displays of many kinds of practical provisions that are already on the market. Inside the House of Life will also be a sophisticated fashion show, featuring models dressed in corrugated paperboard or holding innovative corrugated products.

This Creative Corrugated Interactive Zone will display a vast array of new uses for corrugated cardboard and potential markets. It will illustrate the intelligent creativity at the top end of the industry. While giving hope to corrugated box enterprises it will also surprise and delight all who explore it.

Promotion of SinoCorrugated 2013 in India Proves Highly Successful

Between December 7 and December 13, 2012, members of Reed Exhibitions’ SinoCorrugated 2013 Team traveled to the Asian subcontinent to promote their event. The delegation used the time in India to attend a local packaging show in New Delhi and to visit the Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India (FCBM) in Mumbai. The aim of the visit was to raise the profile of SinoCorrugated events to the Indian market.

The SinoCorrugated Team set up a booth at the India Packaging Show held in New Delhi from December 7 to December 10. The stand attracted widespread attention from visitors and over 200 Indian packaging industry professionals signed up to visit SinoCorrugated 2013.

Subsequently, the representatives of the Chinese show travelled to Mumbai to attend the annual meeting of the FCBM of India, the country’s largest corrugated industry association.

At the meeting, R.R. Ankola, President of the FCBM, pledged the association’s continued support to SinoCorrugated. Mr. Ankola stated that the FCBM would actively mobilize its members to take part in SinoCorrugated 2013. About 300 senior executives from Indian corrugated box manufacturing companies made direct inquiries into visiting SinoCorrugated 2013 at the meeting.

Several of the executives stated that they were regular attendees to SinoCorrugated and that they dedicated their attention to the event because it allowed them to evaluate, first-hand, over 1,300 pieces of the world’s top corrugated manufacturing equipment. This is something that sets SinoCorrugated apart from other shows of its kind. The executives further stated that, for Indian companies keen to find new partners and learn the latest market information, SinoCorrugated was a priority.

The SinoCorrugated organizers also met with a number of local partner travel agencies which will work with Reed to design itineraries for Indian corrugated manufacturers traveling to Shanghai for SinoCorrugated 2013.

Benefit Machinery to Display New Equipment at SinoCorrugated 2013

Established in 2003, Benefit Machinery Co. Ltd. has a 20,000-sqm factory in Kunshan, a prosperous city in East China’s Jiangsu province. Recently, Benefit Machinery committed to exhibiting its new automatic PLC 4-corner folder gluer, the GM-1700-4C model, at SinoCorrugated 2013. This new equipment is designed specifically to process cardboard and corrugated cardboard products and is suitable for A, B and E flutes. Additionally, it can perform straight-line, double-sided, crash-lock bottom 4-/6-corner, and other specific designs.

The products that the GM-1700-4C can process range in size from 420*160mm to 1700*1100mm. The gluer is also equipped with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that stores memory. This function records and saves product information to shorten setting times - particularly useful when producing a diverse range of products.

Henan Yuanhang Packaging Machinery to Exhibit at SinoCorrugated 2013

Henan Yuanhang Packaging Machinery Co. Ltd. was formerly Henan Yuhang Packaging Machinery Factory, a company established in 1983. The original business was a designated carton box manufacturer under the China National Packaging Import & Export Corporation.

Over three decades, in its various formats, the company has built a strong reputation in the local corrugated cardboard manufacturing industry. In 1984, it produced China’s first ever triple-layer corrugated cardboard production line.

The World’s First 8-Color Flexo Printing and Die-cutting Machine of Dual Servo Drive System——TOPRA PD-S of DongFang Precision
Featuring light-weight, pressure-resistant, durable against puncturing and tearing, corrugated cartons integrate mechanical functions of cushioning, shockproof and ease of formation. Meanwhile they are highly applicable to decorative printing, recyclable and pollution-free, which makes them economical and easy to stack. Therefore corrugated cartons are increasingly wide used with related industry developing ever faster than before. Nowadays corrugated cartons have become the most wide used containers in modern packaging as well as one of the most important packing forms around the world. Output value of paper packaging accounts for 40% of that of overall packaging industry in China (over 45% in developed countries), while output value of corrugated cartons accounts for more than 60% of that of paper packaging. Some well-known brands ask much of design of packaging, expecting high level in uniformity of exterior of products as well as the total loyalty of colors to brand itself. So the sellers of goods expect ever more of corrugated carton printing.

Integrated corrugated carton packaging machinery is usually 4-color and up to 7-color both in China and worldwide. Due to its LPI, it is applicable to carton printing to a limited extent. Despite the equipment meets production needs of users for the time being, the utilization of it is quite low in case of insufficiency of orders given its operation cost. Equipped with world-leading numerical control servo drive system and eight printer units, this machine is the latest product with most printing colors available globally in integrated corrugated carton packaging machinery industry. Compared with ordinary integrated corrugated carton packaging machinery, TOPRA PD-S is highlighted in following aspects:

1. Multifunction with High Utilization in Production
Limited by the range of printing, the integrated corrugated carton packaging machinery of up to 7-color is solely aimed for coated paper cartons of high LPI, not suitable for normal kraft & white-top paper cartons. In this condition, when orders of high-end cartons in coated paper are insufficient, the machine will be left unused causing waste of resource and rise in operation cost.

With TOPRA PD-S, the above technical problem is now easily solved. The independent servo motor control applied to the machine can realize synchronization of printing for both coated paper cartons of high LPI and normal kraft & white-top cartons, reaching compatibility of high-end printing and medium-level printing on one machine for the first time in the industry, which is then a perfect solution for carton manufacturers to limited range of printing due to LPI of machine. In the meantime, max machine speed of TOPRA PD-S 1224/28 reaches 220pcs/min, double that of similar machines in the market.

2. Energy-saving and Environment-protective, Trend Leader of the Industry.
When less than 8 colors are needed for printing in work of TOPRA PD-S, high power motor of unneeded printer unit will stop working. Low power motor will be started for transfer of paperboards and thus reduce energy consumption effectively.

When orders of medium or small size cartons are performed, control system of the machine can lower the frequency of exhaust fan for vacuum transfer, reducing working power of motors and saving energy accordingly. A set of TOPRA PD-S is estimated to save around 100 thousand kw-hr of electric power every year against other integrated corrugated carton packaging machinery in service.

Besides, TOPRA PD-S adopts four technologies including Auto Compensation for Printing Plate Length by NC Servo Drive System, Register Synchronization by NC Servo Drive System, Correcting Device for Tilted Printing Plate and Cleaning Device of Environmental Protection and Ink Saving, which have been independently developed by DongFang Precision for saving water and ink more efficiently. Also DongFang Precision has introduced exclusively Central Dust Collecting System—Impulse Type Dust Collector to considerably reduce pollution discharge and purify working environment effectively.

3. Advanced Technology Demonstrating Strength of National Industry
According to http://www.chinaxwcb.com, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China released on its website in 2011 the Index of Instructions for Industrial Structure Adjustment (edition 2011), a crucial basis for the government to lead investment orientation, manage investment projects, formulate and implement polices in finance, taxation, land and import & export, which is categorized into Encouragement, Limitation and Elimination. Shanghai Kopai to Launch Modular Conveyor Belts at SinoCorrugated 2013

Shanghai Kopai Machine Equipment Co. Ltd., a Chinese supplier of ground logistics modular conveyor belts, has confirmed that it will exhibit at SinoCorrugated 2013.

The modular plastic mesh chain conveyor is a revolutionary change from traditional belt conveyors. Modular plastic mesh conveyor belts are driven by sprockets, so they are not easily deflected, nor do they easily snake. They are so thick that they can withstand cutting and pressure from the items they convey. They are also oil- and water-resistant, so require little repair and maintenance – a real cost saver in terms of minimizing the need for replacements or upgrades.

The materials of which modular plastic mesh conveyor belts are made include POM, PP, PE, acetyl and nylon. The belts have a variety of models, such as the horizontal straight conveyor, the lift and climbing conveyor and the curve conveyor. Accessories like lift boards and sideboards can also be installed according to individual requirements.

Modular plastic mesh conveyor belts are less pollutant than other belts. They are made from a single piece of plastic that meets national sanitation standards, and they have no pores or cracks. Since each belt is oil resistant, it does not absorb oily pollutants or other impurities. As such, this belt supports a more environment friendly manufacturing process.

The belt is also stable and chemical resistant; so can resist damage from detergent or hot water. Shaoxing Jiahe a Confirmed Exhibitor at SinoCorrugated 2013

Established in June 2002, Shaoxing Jiahe Color Printing Packaging is a Sino-foreign joint venture that mainly produces corrugated cardboard, corrugated cases and color boxes.
