Hello all, anyone know if it is possible to add a common so-dimm 512MB memory module to a Phaser 7760 or there is any kind of smart protection in the memory part xerox selling so expensive? I tried to use a so-dimm but printer gives a Ram Error message. Thank you.

Can I upgrade the ram in my fiery controller by buying a matching DIMM and inserting it into the open memory slot, or does the fiery software lock the amount of ram the RIP can use to what is installed from the factory unless you buy an expensive ram upgrade kit?

Anyone have a good how-to move the windows xp printer spooler to RAM instead of having to spool on the hard drive to speed up large print jobs?
