fixed it....for now.....normaly we only use the 175 Dot- but for giggles decided to do a color check all ...after running individual color checks for all the dot gains ....for for whatever reason we are now printing the colors correctly now ..weird!!!!

We tried that Milo. ...... The larger the text or image ..the better the quality. If I have a job,lets say a business card with a solid pantone on the back, ,and the same color text on the front with a small solid ..the text will look like a different color from the solid on both...

.. you know your in trouble when the xerox tech looks at you and says there is nothing else I can do, mechanichaly everything looks fine....SOFTWARE team comes in later this week...

we have tried doing everyrthing,all operator maintence is done ,we replaced all consumables,,cleaned sensors,replaced sensors, done IOP etc etc , a tech has been in before and can not dial it in perfect!! The colors are just a tiny bit out of registration....makeing it impossable to get colors...

try a restart....Is the fault during the color check? run 100-200 sheets of any stock any non critical job or any diagnostic color group then run the color check

LoL,we have said it before and will say it again..You can not afford, not to maintain Genies environment! Even in a perfect room the iGen can go crazy ! See my rip restarting on its own tread. LOL

LOL we have 2 of those in our shop-- along with a swiss air humidifier, and a huge fan like Disney world hve that sprays a water mist..we use this in the mornings when it is xtra dry in the winter months when it is -2% RH LOL

I would pre-print the cover and then drop it back on as a blank cover ,and lable the stock the same weight as the text.

No codes,just everynow and again it does a restart at random..particulary irritating while a job is running and you lose the data on how many prints have come out:P:P Techs have been in....but it is one of those problems they have to see to fix..:mad:
