  1. Timing disc for degree the press is at

This is normally caused by the Varicam or the absocoder failing. If the Varicam display goes blank, replace it. If the absocoder is hard to turn, replace it. My money is on the Varicam, they are a high failure item.
  2. Main Press Running Detector

The uU error is normal, if it does not require that you push the reset button on the alpha numeric keypad. As for the settings, they are usually attached to the Varicam timings in the feeder cabinet. Unfortunately every press is different. I'd still check the voltage and current upon starting...
  3. Main Press Running Detector

Start failure error indicates the press is not running 10 seconds after start signal command. You can double check all the parameters on the original settings sheet, usually in the feeder cabinet. But as it is a new start up, I'd be suspicious of main power. Voltage dropping, losing a leg etc...
  4. Main Press Running Detector

First thing I would check are the main motor Amp fans, accessible from the feeder side of the main electrical cabinet. Make sure they are not blocked and are turning freely. Next item I'd check is the main motor encoder. They are delicate devices that fail on a regular basis. Also the set...
  5. Komori Sprint GS 228

Sounds like your main circuit breaker, the one you keep turning on and off, is failing. I'd order a replacement breaker before you damage something on the press.
  6. KMS connection to PQC-D II

Moxa is just a brand name, like Advantech, used on a lot of Komori PCs for serial interfaces. KMS stands for Komori Monitoring System, and even if you could get the floppy interface to work, there would still be no 'monitoring'. The 'newer' presses interface the PQC with the press PLC (computer...
  7. KMS connection to PQC-D II

PQC DII was not made by Komori, but by Toyo Denki. I've seen some creative attempts to download ink key profiles, via the magnetic card reader, but it's a lot of work for very little return. Easier to just upgrade the magnetic card reader to a floppy disc reader, or better yet, buy a new press.
  8. PDUC Error

Communication problem with DUC system, controllers that convert analog to digital (from unit to the PQC) and digital to analog (from the PQC to the unit). Basically the PQC talks to the DUC controller in the delivery, then every unit all the way to the feeder. Any one of the DUC controllers can...
  9. pqc problem

With that vintage PQC, I would start with checking the power supplies for proper voltage out.
  10. Driver manual for Lithron impression motor

I have never seen a drive manual for the PDU-215. Toyo Denki is not known for sharing proprietary information.
  11. Brush shift/S-charge AC motor

My guess would be that the brush shifting motor's slowest speed is not slow enough. Sometimes the slowest speed was not slow enough to wash up easily by hand. Or the commutator brush shifting section was not set right, or damaged, etc. How slow is the freq drive at slower or inch speed?
  12. Driver manual for Lithron impression motor

"I am having komori Lithron 4 colour 1995 model.i want a driver manual for impression on stepper motor.i have attached the photos. Any body having this please help me." I'm guessing you are having problems? Normal suspects are the home position sensor or the driver. Motor failure is very rare.
  13. Brush shift/S-charge AC motor

Sorry, unlike the wound rotor motors on older presses, you cannot easily adapt a freq drive to this motor.
  14. KOMORI PQC-D II Power Detection Board

"Does anyone have information about the Voltage Detection Board aka fault board" Board is located in DII type PQC. Problem normally is that it will not allow the PQC CPU to RUN.
  15. L-520 Programable Controller Cards

"Having trouble with programable controller cards that work my pan rollers. They error out randomly, then turn back on as i am looking at them for no apparent reason. I was wondering if anyone else ever had this annoying problem." The L*20 inch presses do use analog output PLC modules. These...
