Hello,

I get in my DC2060 Fault 009-361, i know it is some thing wrong with magenta module, but I ran out of ideas.

At this moment, i tried a few things, but still get the same fault,
I try
- change EVS Sensor between M & K
- change all module M with K
- check the fuse
- i run in DC330 drum motor C,M,Y, K working fine

no matter what i do, still get the sam fault always is 009-361

Can anyone help me ?? What should I do, check ?

I will be extremely grateful for any help

If you have done all of that I would now start to look at the Charge/Preclean HVPS. Swap these for another stationand see if the fault code changes. The fuses you need to check are F27 and F18 on Distribution 1 PWB

  • Hi,

I check all fuse on PWBA board and on the board at the back, all fuse are fine.
Can you tell me where is Charge/Preclean HVPS
Can i check/test something more from PWS ?

    Hi,

I swap PSHV board (is it just Charge/Preclean HVPS) on the left i right side, i swap between M & K ,
also i swap Laser box between M&K
and notthing changed, still get 9-361 fault

I would add that the machine is the change of location, transport

I checked searchlight on PWS laptop and it states,"is drum turning"? Run DC330 with PWS laptop, enter 4-006 to turn magenta drum, drop IBT belt down, select start, is drum turning? If not, check fuse F2 on drum drive PWB above yellow ROS. Also clean p201 plug on developer housing at rear with electronic contact cleaner. This plug sends voltage from power supply to ESV and signals from ESV to IOT PWB . I use a special electronics cleaner called Blow Off Contact cleaner. I have had this problem many times on DC2045, 2060, 5252, 6060.

I allready checked on PWS, i can turn all drums from PWS it is posible to start turning drom from PWS if ESV signal is lost ? Could somebody tell where is go cabels from housing, which board are they connected ? my be some cabel are fault ?

Go to dc301 and perform IOT init. After you must restore nvm's fromcritical nvm record and follow maxsetup procedure.
Before IOT init you can try to run maxsetup for several times dc934 and dc933. Performing that, may be, you are lucky enough to restore to normal value the out of range value of charge reading by esv

    Hi,
Tray this and i do IOT init, after that restor value using paper from right front door, but when i tray maxsetup procedure i get the same fault (09-361 VH Charge Check Fail (M))

When i start dc934 or dc933 i get the error and procedure stop's

No matter what i do or changed/switched, notthing change still the same fault.

    I'm almost certain that
    - ESV Sensor is good (i switched between M&K)
    - Laser is good (i switched between M&K)
    - PSHV board on the right and left side is good (i switched between M&K)
    - Drum's are good
    - All the elements of hausing are good (i switched between M&K)
    - Laser main board (at the back) are good ( i switched between M/Y & K/C)

I have no idea what to change to force change error

Perform MaxSetup from the beginning. At dc934 step , probably, you get the error code. Go out from service mode then go in service mode directly to dc933 step, run it and it should finnish dc933 without error. If so , return to dc934 and run it again and dc 934 will finnish without error. Then go to the end of the MaxSetup and run once again all MaxSetup procedure.

I tray this, no matter from where i start i get the error. I tray start from dc934 and start from dc933 always the same error. also i use contact spray for connection at the back of hausing but it did not help. Tomorrow i will check all the cables going to the PWB board but I do not think it would solve the problem...

I checked all the cables from the back of housing, I think they are all good. I do not know where to look. All the time i get 9-361...

Check the connector behind charge corotron / grid where drum module meets frame for bent connector. Check voltage at plug 201 at rear of dev assy for 24vdc/24vdc return and 0-5 vdc from esv, pins 1,2,3,4. If the charge corotron or grid is not energized, no esv signal will go to IOT PWB.
