Pretty new here and on the IGen 4 Running a book that has 100# dull cover and 32# text that has both black and color Machine running pretty slow because of all the "adjusting image" it does. Anyway to speed it up? Thanks in advance
From those weight differences the engine will be warming up every time it needs to print the cover so stopping. Best way is to print the covers seperate from the job and collate after -- Mark
I would pre-print the cover and then drop it back on as a blank cover ,and lable the stock the same weight as the text.
100% this! I do a lot of thick labels along with thin offset paper. call em all the same, and you wont "warm up" between sheets. or, if you're talking about "adjusting print quality" you can adjust toner purge settings to purge less. Though I find that only helps marginally.
