I don't know how common this is or if it is related to my profile matches but here goes ...
This fault code generally has 4554 or another number based on which color station throws it. This one appears to be with black and shows up as xpe-06-4554 CRIM IDIC (K) FAULT
I was starting a new lift (we split jobs by variable data records into lifts of 1000 records or 250 4-up sheets) and the igen4 threw this fault code. Ehem paper goes to default tray without a jam I generally have the following headache - The machine prints the same image on both sides. It will print the back with the variable address on it and then repeat the same image for the front with a blank spot where the address info is on the other side.
So far the only answers I get from the techs and support is that it must be in my job...
Then I have to resend the job and pray it works. Today I restarted the Freefoow after emptying variable image cache. Temporary fix maybe...
Any ideas what the fault is or why this might be happening?
