XL 105 Form rollers

Doe's anyone know what the problem is with XL 105 forme rollers. Heidelberg are recommending we change to there new design which will improve print quality. I think they are covering up for a design fault ?????????

 

The new design will oscillate a little more, and improved design from what I have been told.

 

The rollers will also have a new style roller bearing too. I have seen the old style bearings explode, and from what I am told the new bearings are all self contained.

 

Yes, we have already had one bearing collapse which thankfully didn't cause to much damage. It seems these form rollers are to heavy for the bearings that support them.
