Happened to stumble upon http://www.xitron.com/Prismproduct.htm via google - anyone familiar with Xitron products or the Prism printer? 12x18 stock weights up to 72 lb. bond grabbed by attention but I've never heard of it before tonight.
Appears to my eyes to be the same main print engine/body as Xante is using for their Illumina (but likely with a different RIP) which John identified as actually being an okidata - http://www.colorprintingforum.com/x...lumina-production-environment-45.html#post114
So anyone have thoughts on which is a better RIP implementation on the oki engine - Xante's or Xitron's?
Guys, we have OKI CX3641 that has EFi Fiery based RIP, Xante has just about the same RIP, there are some older okis that have OKI rip and print 600 dpi, so all mentioned above would print much better. Xitron would most likely have their own thing, would be a big surprise if they didn't, imagine a XITRON digital press with EFI rip, hmmmmm
