Xerox DC250 Fiery error '8d' on small digital screen

Hi, I have a dc250 with built in RIP. The fiery is coming up with an error '8d' on the small digital screen where it should be '00'. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

 

First thing is to reload software. The software in these things goes bad pretty frequently.

 

The service documentation says the interface board is not properly seated, or its bad. It's the board that the large white cable connects to.

Take it out and re-insert it several times to break up any corrosion. Also make sure its free of lint before you put it back together using compressed air.
