Hi all,
Just joined this forum - thank you in advance for your answers.
I lease a Xerox 7855 mainly for black and white copying, color copying, bulk scanning for archives.

I am trying to use this machine for more application, to extend my business services:
Brochures - I got heavier paper (glossy and non glossy) and printed some and it looks great. any advice about that? and advice about a folding machine for brochures?

Business cards - can i print business cards with this machine? what paper should i use? do you recommend a certain cutting machine for producing business cards?

letterheads and envelopes printing - i printed some envelopes for my business use - but not as a service for other companies. is that possible with this machine? any advise about letterhead printing and envelopes printing?

Last question - what machine would you recommend me to upgrade to so i will be able to do those things mentioned above? and still be in the same price range.
Thank you so much, sorry i have so many questions...
Maor.

  • The capabilities of your printer are found here. http://www.office.xerox.com/multifunction-printer/color-multifunction/workcentre-7800-series/enus.html

If you are looking to increase the productivity of the printer, the direction all depends on how much volume you plan on doing. You may look into more of a production printer if you think you will need it.

As far as a cutter is concerned that also depends on production. They do sell small cutters that can cut up to 13x19 but you will be unable to cut down parent sized sheets. This will limit the types of paper you can buy, but this really only applies to some specialty paper not all.

Also if you have a lease with Xerox give your rep a call or ask the Tech next time he is out.

    Good luck.
